Brown Rice Patties

Cook your rinsed brown rice in the steamer basket for 22 minutes, with some pumpkin, garlic cloves and one sliced onion in the varoma.  Put the cooked veggies in the bowl on speed 4 until they're well combined. Once the rice is cooked, drain and put in the bowl with the veggies, salt and pepper to taste and a handful of rolled oats (you can add more oats if you find it isn't holding it's shape). Mix on reverse speed 1 for 20 seconds then shape into patties. Fry and serve with a salad or in the sesame seed burger buns from the blog.  I think I put parsley into these. Could have been chives. Whatever, any herbs will do!
