Prawn curry with Rice - one pot meal!



My prawn curry, kind of a tandoori style sauce with rice. We had it for dinner tonight, kids loved the rice!

2 onions, 3 garlic cloves, 2 small dried chillis, 2cm ginger, 5 tomatoes into bowl, chop 3 seconds on speed 6. Scrape down sides.

Add 10ml oil, sauté 3 min on speed 2, temp 100.

Add 1T tomato paste, 2t tumeric, 3t cumin, 2t ground coriander, 1t TMX garam marsala, 4 cardamon pods, 2 cloves and 100ml water.

Pour 200g rice into your steamer basket and rinse. Put basket into bowl.

Into Varoma place 500g peeled raw prawns.

Cook 22 minutes, speed 2, Varoma.

Once done, take out rice basket and pour 20ml cream into bowl. Turn slowly to speed 9 for 1 minute.

Serve prawns on rice and pour over sauce, garnish with coriander.
